Disappointed

To say the VERY least I am utterly disappointed!

Perhaps I may feel like posting more at a latter date, but right now...I am too frustrated, angry and HURT to go any further.

Its a new year and time for new resolutions! Every year I list my year's resolutions on a small piece of paper and I keep it in my purse. Believe it or not...I tend to look at it more this way. I list short-long-term goals that mean something to me. Of course eating healthy is always on there but this year I think I might try a little something more to add to that. Perhaps an article of clothing or shoes or something to work for, you know. At any rate, I don't make a super long list of stuff I want that I prolly won't achieve cause then what good is that? My list tends to be ongoing sorta. I make the inital list and then tend to add to it throughout the year a bit. Nothing earth shattering, just tweak it a little here or there. For example: this year, eating clean is on my list. Has been in years past but last year I really did pretty good at it for 4 months and then failed considerably the last 3months of the year. Is It Hot In Here?

Me: Can you have symptoms of a heat stroke and not have the stroke? MJ: Oh brother. Me: Seriously, is that possible? MJ: That's a hotflash! What I was referring to is the fact that Hubs went on a fishing trip this past weekend. He stayed up late drinking with buddies on Saturday night then got up extra early on Sunday morning to board a 6am boat for an all day excursion on the John Day River. He returned Monday burnt to a crisp and extremely tired. He didn't drink much water while on the boat so I am assuming that he was dehydrated...and still is. That's what makes MJ's hotflash comments all the more comical to me. But then it doesn't take much to humor me anymore.

I live with boys.

My friends, my world consists of everything boy. Lots of boys! Little boys, big boys, tiny plastic boys, dinosaurs that are referred to as boy and a dog that is all boy. All boys, all the time. And this, my friends, is how they all respond to me at any given moment of the day. Stick figures! No expression. They just stand there with stupid grins on their faces and act like I am the weird one. I need to get some girly back into my world this year. Pronto!
