This is what I am trying to recreate for my children, but using the 12 days before Christmas instead:

A "Pottery Barn Kids" Exclusive about 2 years ago.

Why only twelve days you ask?

Let's be realistic here, I started this "creation" (in my head mind you) LAST CHRISTMAS and have since then somehow lost all the felt I bought for it and now in late June want to begin the process again. In time for THIS Christmas. I think I can do it. Remember...I don't have a sewing machine, so I am actually contemplating HAND SEWING this. My heart says "no prob, not that hard really" but my mind says "are your freaking hilarious or what?".

Recall if you will my most recent post about enjoying the "creation" of said projects...not the production.

I guess we will just have to see. I am making this blog hold me accountable.
I did go buy me a brand new pair of scissors today (like I need another pair...I am a scrapbooker for great's sake) and some BLACK felt (it was remnent, on sale, and a good size) I can use it for the backing of my Christmas one, I guess.

I actually am laughing now...at myself. I am a scapbooker not a seamstress...give me a paper craft any day of the week and I can complete it with no complication. So this is going to be very interesting. LOL

    I'm the same way---I like scrapbooking but can't seem to sew more than a straight line. I can't wait to see how this turns out!

A couple of weeks ago we had a visit from the Dish man, aka the cable repair man. We have satellite and apparently some trees found it necessary to grow into the path of our latitude and longitude broadband. We lost all viewing pleasure of the more critical channels in our home…Nick Jr. and Cartoon Network. LOL We were told the technician would be out to our home anytime between 8am and 1pm. Great! Stuck inside all day essentially, playing the waiting game. Much to our surprise the phone rings at 8:15am. It’s the Dish Lady’s voice informing us that the “Dish” man would be at our home in less than 20 minutes! WooHoo! William shows up and knows just what to do to fix the problem and is done in about 20minutes flat! Nice! He was a nice man, Genuine. Warm and Fuzzy. Is It Hot In Here?

Me: Can you have symptoms of a heat stroke and not have the stroke? MJ: Oh brother. Me: Seriously, is that possible? MJ: That's a hotflash! What I was referring to is the fact that Hubs went on a fishing trip this past weekend. He stayed up late drinking with buddies on Saturday night then got up extra early on Sunday morning to board a 6am boat for an all day excursion on the John Day River. He returned Monday burnt to a crisp and extremely tired. He didn't drink much water while on the boat so I am assuming that he was dehydrated...and still is. That's what makes MJ's hotflash comments all the more comical to me. But then it doesn't take much to humor me anymore.
