Livin' the Dream...

Well, the boys and I are off to the Oregon Coast for the long weekend and hopefully a cure for this horrible horrible cold that I caught. Now I wonder if it is not allergies. Don't know. Never had 'em before. Least not like this, YUCK! Nonetheless, this is where we are headed And I will be sure to get me a nice big juicy burger from here Mmmmmmm. Can't wait. I better come back healthy that's all I'm sayin

I think I have croup! Is that even possible? at age 35? I knew this cold would whip me as soon as I overheard my sister (to a fellow co-worker) say: "oh her, she doesn't get sick". As soon as I heard that, I was like "Great...now I will definitely not win this battle". And sure enough, I am sick. Not too bad though. It started with the sniffles, developed some snuffy nose syndrome and THEN, then turned into this upper respiratory inflamation thingey that woke me up out of a somewhat blissful slumber gasping for air. TWO TIMES! I WAS guarding my immune system with Umcka. A potent little drug found only in the health food isle at the local grocer. Said sister named above pushes it on the side as a small business, I swear. LOL...I tease, it actually was working until I quit taking it. Why? Don't ask. I don't know why. I knew I wasn't in the clear with my symptoms, but that's me for ya. Almost always makes poor choices when it comes to m...

Me: Can you have symptoms of a heat stroke and not have the stroke? MJ: Oh brother. Me: Seriously, is that possible? MJ: That's a hotflash! What I was referring to is the fact that Hubs went on a fishing trip this past weekend. He stayed up late drinking with buddies on Saturday night then got up extra early on Sunday morning to board a 6am boat for an all day excursion on the John Day River. He returned Monday burnt to a crisp and extremely tired. He didn't drink much water while on the boat so I am assuming that he was dehydrated...and still is. That's what makes MJ's hotflash comments all the more comical to me. But then it doesn't take much to humor me anymore.

Day 2 of this: on my quest to look like this: All I can say is: Ummm, OUCH! Yet here I sit eating licorice. Hey, it says it's fat free doesn't it!

I received a B-E-A-UTIFUL digital camera for Mother's Day/My Birthday..and Anniversary, and Christmas, and... :) I can't wait to learn more about it and especially can't wait to take the 4 part series of classes that came along with it. WooHoo! So not deserving, but ohhh so loving it!

Arrgghh… I gravely dislike it when individuals use something GOOD just to fuel their own EVIL! Is there not enough drama in the world that people now feel the need to spend their time digging up the past, and then manipulate it into something it is not (nor was it ever) just to create drama out of nothing for their own purpose? Seriously? Well, don’t include me in it. I use my powers in Good only. Nope, won’t find me trying to hash up old wounds just to pour salt on them. If that is your goal…be my guest, but I won’t play your game. (Trust me, if I did want to play…I‘ve got plenty to bring to the table!)

Thank you everyone for all the warm birthday wishes. I had a fabulous birthday and Mother's Day! I feel sooo loved :)

I am elated today... Disappointment...I am done with you! I have better things to do! C'mon sunshine!

To say the VERY least I am utterly disappointed! Perhaps I may feel like posting more at a latter date, but right now...I am too frustrated, angry and HURT to go any further.
